Mrs. Marilyn D. "Cis" Kelle, 63, of 2020 Sycamore, died at 10:10 p.m. Saturday (July 12, 2003) in the home of her daughter in Quincy. Born October 7, 1939 in Hannibal, Missouri, Marilyn was the daughter of Harold D. and Lois Chilton Begley. She married Richard Kelle on June 14, 1979 in Quincy. He survives. Marilyn attended St. Francis Catholic Church and was a court watcher for Quanada. Marilyn was devoted to her family and cherished the time she spent with her grandson, Zach. A graduate of Quincy High School and Gem City Business College, Marilyn was employed as an accounts payable clerk and traveling orderer for J. M. Huber for many years. She retired in 1995. Also surviving is her mother, Lois F. Woodward of Hannibal; a daughter, Rona L. Spears of Quincy; two sons, Timothy M. Veile of Las Vegas, NV. and Brian D. Veile of St. Louis, MO.; a grandson, Zachery A. Spears of Quincy; four brothers, Dale Woodward and his wife Becky of Quincy, Ronald Begley of Mission Viejo, CA., Daryl Woodward of Springfield, IL. and Mike Woodward and his wife Diane of Morton, IL.; a sister, Marcia Barnard and her husband Dan of Hannibal, MO.; a brother in law, Larry Joiner of Hannibal, MO.; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Mrs. Kelle was preceded in death by her father; a brother, Harold W. Begley; and a sister Raeanne Joiner. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 9:30 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home and at 10:00 in St. Francis Catholic Church by the Rev. James Wheeler. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 and Tuesday until the time of services at the funeral home. A christian wake service will be held Monday evening at 6:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Zachery Spears Educational Fund. |
