Mrs. Louise L. Kill, 94, of the Good Samaritan Home, formerly of 67 Lincoln Hill N. E., died at 11:11 a.m. Wednesday (December 31, 2003) in the home.

Born January 20, 1909 in Quincy, Louise was the daughter of Phillip and Matilda Meyer Eggerson. She married Louis H. Kill on August 19, 1933 in Quincy. He died on December 5, 1982.

Mrs. Kill was a member of Salem Evangelical United Church of Christ, Salem Afternoon Guild and the Salem Singles. She enjoyed playing cards and Bingo.

Mrs. Kill was employed for many years at Carson Pirie Scott until her retirement in 1979. She then worked for Ray Jewelers until 1982.

Survivors include a daughter, Carol Schuering and her husband Donald P. of Quincy; a son, Jerry Kill and his wife Phyllis of San Diego, CA.; four grandchildren, Leanne Schutte and her husband Steve of St. Peters, MO., Amy Jones and her husband Rick of Quincy, Kristin Dunn and her husband Brian of San Deigo, CA. and Carrie Kill of Phoenix, AZ.; two great grandchildren, Austin and Ashley Schutte of St. Peters, MO.; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Kill was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two sisters, Leona Williams and Eva Humphrey.

Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 9:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. Steve Disseler. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 and Saturday until the time of services at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Salem Church or the Good Samaritan Home.
