ANNAMAE KURTZ
 
Mrs. Annamae Kurtz, 91, of rural Hull, died at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday (February 13, 2002) in Blessing Hospital.

Born January 25, 1911 in Payson, Annamae was the daughter of Alexander Clarence and Bessie Fuller Cooper. She married Francis Samuel Kurtz on May 20, 1929 in Payson. He died July 17, 1996.

Annamae was a member of Payson United Methodist Church. She enjoyed picking blackberries, picking mushrooms, and crocheting.

Mrs. Kurtz was employed as a packer and sorter at the Franklin Apple Orchard in Barry.

Surviving are four daughters, Phyllis Kurtz of Hull, Carolyn Bray and Doris Brissey, both of Burlington IA., and Helen Jean Bruenger and her husband Dick of Quincy; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; one brother, Vernon Cooper and his wife Letha of Richfield, IL.; and four sisters, Catherine Hankins and her husband Jim of Barry, Pansy Brewer of Ozark, MO., Bertha Jarvill of Mendon, and Iola Cooper of Hull.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter, Mary Louise Scott; five brothers, Virgil, Austin, Elmer, Arthur, and Ralph Cooper; and two sisters, Emma Snow, and Edith Cooper.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday morning at 11:00 in Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home in Payson by the Rev. Ron Cox. Burial will be in the Payson New Cemetery.

Visitation will be Saturday morning from 9:30 until the time of services at the funeral home in Payson.

Memorials may be made to the Annamae Kurtz Memorial Fund.
