OMER A. LARIMORE
 
Mr. Omer A. Larimore, 95, of Plainville, died at 12:06 a.m. Saturday (June 22, 2002) in Blessing Hospital.

Born December 31, 1906 in Adams County near Plainville, Omer was the son of Ellis and Dora Wagy Larimore. He married Lucy May Griggs on August 25, 1926 in Quincy. She died July 27, 1995.

Mr. Larimore was a member of Akers Chapel Church of Christ. He enjoyed crossword puzzles and gardening. Omer farmed all of his life in the Payson/Plainville area until his retirement in 1982.

Surviving are three daughters, Donna Mibbs and her husband Bob of Chandlerville, IL., Janet Bingaman and her husband Dan of Barry, and Marcia Copher and her husband Ed of Milford, IL.; two sons, Marvin Larimore of Plainville, and Neil Larimore and his wife Darlene of Milford, IL.; 20 grandchildren; several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; one daughter, Maxine Sloniger; one infant son, Gerald; one granddaughter, Zoanna Hall; and one grandson, Timothy Kaufmann.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:00 in Akers Chapel Church of Christ by the Rev. Carl Lucas. Burial will be in Payson New Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Sunday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 in Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home in Payson and Monday afternoon from 1:00 until the time of services at the church.

Memorials may be made to Akers Chapel Church of Christ or to the charity of the donor's choice.
