Mr. James Joseph Lehne, 78, of 411 Oak, died at 5:08 a.m. Thursday (December 13, 2001) in Blessing Hospital.

Born October 22, 1923 in Mt. Sterling, IL., James was the son of George and Mary Ann O'Hara Lehne.

James was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and served his country in the Army Air Corps during WW II.

Surviving are two sisters, Ruth Crowley of Quincy and Rita Clayton of Camden; a step sister, Geraldine Spires of Apache Junction, AZ.; two step brothers, Bob Dierking of Mesa, AZ. and Wally Dierking of Glendora, CA; and Aunt & Uncle, Olive and Charles Lehne of Mt. Sterling, and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Mr. Lehne was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Rose Ann Hodge, two step sisters, Betty Aber and Rosemary Hall; and two half sisters, Patricia Tracy and Linda Weisenborger.

Graveside memorial services will be held Friday morning at 9:00 in the Mt. Sterling Catholic Cemetery by the Rev. Tom Hensler.

There is no visitation, but friends are invited to the services. Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home in Quincy is in charge of the arrangements.
