Mary Joyce Lepper 60, of 527 Broadway, died at 3:04 p.m. Sunday (January 5, 2003) in Blessing Hospital. Born February 14, 1942 in Maywood, Missouri, Mary was the daughter of Clarence and Ruby Irene Leach Hurst. Mary was a member of the New Life Christian Center. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Surviving is a son, Tim Lepper and his wife Tammy of Fowler; three daughters, Rhonda Sue Harris and her husband Jerry of Hull, Lorie Vest and her husband Chuck and Melissa "Missy" Oenning and her husband Glenn all of Quincy; 17 grandchildren, Codi, Cassandra, Bridgette, Travis, Haleigh, Debra, Brian, Brandon, Jamie, Kelsey, Brandon, Darla, Tasha, Pam, Jessica, Patty and John; two great grandchildren, Cainan and Shelby; three brothers, Richard Hurst, Jerry Hurst and his wife Gail and Robert Hurst and his wife Marilyn all of Quincy; a sister, Susie Stierlin of Quincy; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Lepper was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Marvin Hurst, and a sister in infancy, Leota Fern Hurst. Cremation rites were accorded to Mrs. Lepper. Memorial services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 in New Life Christian Center, 901 N. 4th St., by Rev. Greg Fulmer. Private family inurnment will be in Greenmount Cemetery. There is no visitation, but friends are invited to attend the memorial services. Memorials may be made to the Mary Lepper Memorial Fund. Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. |
