Mr. Michael Ray "Punkin" Lohman, 58, of St. Louis, MO., formerly of Quincy, died at 12:40 a.m. Sunday (May 11, 2003) at Springfield Memorial Medical Center. Born June 30, 1944 in Quincy, Michael was the son of Virgil and Sheila Shinnebarger Lohman. He was married to Christine Brown Lohman. For the last several years, he has shared his life with Sharon Myers of Quincy. Michael was a 1962 graduate of Christian Brothers High School and attended Quincy College, where he was on the Tennis Team. He enjoyed bowling, softball, tennis and fishing. Michael was employed by Gardner Denver Corp., Quincy Discount Carpet and for the past nine years for Home Depot, currently as a Pro Sales Manager in the St. Louis District. Surviving is Sharon Myers of Quincy; his mother, Sheila Storck of Quincy; three daughters, Heidi Young and her husband Jay and Ilsa Terrell all of Quincy and Jenna Myers Drawe and her husband Patrick of Castle Rock, CO.; two sons, Michael R. Lohman II and his wife Deanna of Springfield and Derek Lohman and his wife Maribeth of Phoenix, AZ.; fifteen grandchildren, Joshua Lohman, Carley Hiland, Dalton Hiland, Alexandria Terrell, Madison Terrell, Bryce Terrell and Zavier Terrell all of Quincy, Caitlin Lohman, Emilie Lohman, Mallorie Lohman and Rachel Lohman all of Springfield, Samantha Lohman and Fletcher Lohman both of Phoenix, AZ. and Ashton Drawe and Saylor Drawe both of Castle Rock, CO.; and an Aunt and Uncle, Maurine and Joe Baker of Quincy. Mr. Lohman was preceded in death by his father, Virgil Lohman and his step father, Eugene Storck. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10:00 in Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by Pastor Dennis Thomas. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 and Wednesday until the time of services at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital or the charity of the donor's choice. |
