Mr. Albert W. Loos Jr., 81, of 720 Sycamore, formerly of 4616 Harrison, died at 1:50 p.m. Friday (November 1, 2002) in Sycamore Health Care Center. Born October 10, 1921 in Quincy, Albert was the son of Albert and Emma Schroeder Loos Sr. Albert was a member of Salem Evangelical United Church of Christ. He farmed all of his life on the family farm in Melrose Township, retiring in 1997. Surviving are two sons, Albert Loos III and Dale Loos both of Quincy; two daughters, Linda Taute and her husband Arthur and Debbie Loos all of Quincy; and two grandchildren, Tristan Loos and Adariana Loos both of Quincy. Mr. Loos was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Emily Neaterour; and a brother in infancy, Elmer Loos. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon 1:30 in Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. Wanda Seydel. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Monday until the time of services at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Salem Church. |
