MARSHA L. MADDOX-HIVELY

Mrs. Marsha L. Maddox-Hively, 53, of Mendon, died at 4:44 p.m. Monday (August 9, 2004) at Blessing Hospital. Born January 5, 1951 in Tonawanda, New York, Marsha was the daughter of Richard J. and Esther Mae Hopkins Olmstead. Marsha enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing and was a devoted mother and homemaker. Surviving is her father, Richard Olmstead and his wife Donna of Sarasota, FL.; two daughters, Rebecca Ann Llaca of Edwardsville, IL. and Jennifer of Chattanooga, TN.; one son, David of Carbondale, IL.; three grandchildren, Alyssa, Phillip and Emma; a brother, Wayne Olmstead of the Bahama's; and her loving companion, Sam Hively of Mendon. She was preceded in death by her mother and a brother, Terry Olmstead. Cremation rites were accorded and private family memorial services by Rev. Roger Selves will take place at a later date. Family will meet friends Thursday afternoon at 1:00 at Sam and Marsha's home, 503 South State Road in Mendon. Memorials may be made to the Rebecca Llaca Education Fund.
