| Mr. Daniel Scott Mason, 28, of Pittsfield, formerly of Quincy, died at 11:45 a.m. Monday (December 10, 2001) in
Springfield Memorial Hospital. Born October 16, 1973 in Quincy, Daniel was the son of David L. and Lou Ann Lowary Mason. He married Amy Lowe on May 27, 1995 in Quincy. She survives. Daniel was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Quincy. He enjoyed listening to music and bowling and loved to spend time with his family. Daniel was employed in the warehouse at DOT Foods for the past 5 years. Also surviving are two sons; Austin Scott Mason and Dustin Thomas Mason of Pittsfield; a daughter, Courtney Danielle Mason of Pittsfield; his parents, David L. and Lou Ann Mason of Quincy; his paternal grandmother, Dorothy Mason of Liberty; a brother, David Thomas Mason and his wife Heather of Quincy; a nephew, Dylan Mason of Quincy; and several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Daniel was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Walter Mason; and his maternal grandparents, Thomas and Virginia Lowary. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 9:00 in Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home in Quincy by the Rev. Franklin Silas and at 11:30 in the Pittsfield Assembly of God Church by the Rev. Darrell Bucher and Bill Miller. Burial will be in the West Cemetery in Pittsfield. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Friday until the time of services at the funeral home in Quincy. Memorials may be made to the Mason Children's Education Fund. |
