| Mr. Theodore Huston "Ted" McQueen, 83, of North Adams Home, formerly of Payson, died at 4:15 a.m. Sunday
(May 27, 2001) in the home. Born March 7, 1918 in Hannibal, Missouri, Ted was the son of He married Helen McNay in 1953 in Quincy. She survives. Ted was a member of Labor Local 919 and worked as a construction worker for many years, retiring in 1978. He was a vendor at various Flea Markets in the area and was an avid fisherman. Also surviving is a daughter, Diane Franks and her husband Willard of Melbrook, AL.; three sons, Ronald McQueen of Snohomish, WA., Robert McQueen and his wife Sandra of Morrisville, IL. and LeRoy McQueen and his wife Pat of Deatsville, AL.; seven grandchildren, Bobbie Franks and his wife Danielle of Plainville, John Franks of Payson, April Franks of Melbrook, AL., Corey McQueen of Quincy, Erin McQueen and Bethany McQueen both of Morrisville, IL. and Robert Kee of Deatsville, AL. Mr. McQueen was preceded in death by his parents. |
