| Mrs. Abbie Mihlhauser, 89, of 1707 Jackson, died at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday (January 17, 2001) in her home. Born January 4, 1912 in Edina, MO., Mrs. Mihlhauser was the daughter of Henry and Bertha Anders Riesebieter. She married Marvin "Dick" Mihlhauser on April 5, 1929 in Hannibal, MO. He died on April 10, 1980. Mrs. Mihlhauser was a member of Luther Memorial Church. She was employed by Gates Radio for several years. Surviving are two daughters, Nancy "Elaine" Priepot of Quincy and Donna Lee Gross of Littleton, CO.; three grandchildren, Shawn Priepot of St. Peters, MO., David Gross and his wife Mar-Lee of Littleton, CO. and Lori Northrup of Highlands Ranch, CO.; a great granddaughter, Kayla Northrup of Highlands Ranch, CO.; three sisters, Elsie Meyer of Warren, MI., Bertha Weaver of Taylorville, IL., and Jeanette Brown of Garden Grove, CA.; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Mihlhauser was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a sister, Anna Young; and four brothers, John, Albert, Harry and Frank Riesebieter. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:00 in Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. Gary Anholt. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday until the time of services at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Luther Memorial Church. |
