| Mrs. Tonya Joann Milfs, 31 of 2017 Primrose St. Pekin, IL., formerly of Quincy, died Tuesday afternoon (April 23,
2002) in her home. Born October 14, 1970 in Quincy, Tonya was the daughter of William Lozelle and Norma Jane Allensworth Meado. She married Jon Milfs on October 29, 1994 in Quincy. He survives. While living in Quincy, Tonya was a member of the River of Life Christian Center and she was a member of the Richwoods Christian Center in Peoria. She was a 1988 graduate of Quincy High School and attended Gem City Business College in Quincy. Tonya was currently employed as a manager for Planet X Rollerworld and was a devoted mother to her children. Also surviving is a daughter, Ashlyn Kay Milfs of Pekin; a son, Brytan William Milfs of Pekin; her mother, Norma J. Meado of Quincy; a brother, Pastor Bryan Meado and his wife Linda of Quincy, two nieces, Kiley and Haley Meado, both of Quincy; and one nephew, Ryan Meado of Quincy. Tonya was preceded in death by her father; and grandparents. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10:30 in Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by Pastor Gary Wallace and Pastor James Powell. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 and Saturday until the time of services at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Children's Education Fund. |
