| Mr. Lawrence Neaterour, 76, of RR Ursa, died at 4:35 a.m. Thursday (June 28, 2001) in Blessing Hospital. Born June 7, 1925 in Warsaw, Mr. Neaterour was the son of Archie and Edna McCullough Neaterour. He married Alma A. Cecil on July 5, 1946 in Quincy. She died May 25, 1992. Mr. Neaterour served his country in the U. S. Army during WW II. He received the Purple Heart. He was a member of V. F. W. Post 5126 and a charter member and life member of the AM-Vets in Ursa. Larry made many friends at the neighborhood bars. Mr. Neaterour worked for 18 years as yard manager for Wrights Auto Parts. Surviving is a daughter, Peggy Siegel of Mendon; a special friend, Wauneta Thomas of Quincy; a sister, Velma Stage of Bremerton, WA.; five nieces, Debbie Stanley and her husband Robert of Mendon, Ida Randall of Quincy, and Sherry, Rita and Denice all of Bremerton, WA.; and two nephews, Carl and Michael Cecil of Iowa. Mr. Neaterour was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and a brother, Vernon. Visitation will be held Saturday afternoon from 1:00 to 3:00 in Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home. Friends are invited to attend. Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. |
