Mrs. Inca Margaret Nutt, 88, of 1520 South 5th, died at 6:00 a.m. Wednesday (February 18, 2004) in the home of her son, Robert Nutt. Born August 21, 1915 in Pleasant Hill, Illinois, Ina was the daughter of Wavie and Marge Brisco Hartsock. She was married to James D. Nutt. He died May 25, 1971. Ina enjoyed attending card parties with her friends and sewing quilts. She attended Black Oak School in Pleasant Hill and a business college in Springfield. She was a teacher's assistant for 20 years with the Quincy Public Schools Head Start Program, retiring in 1986. Survivors include seven sons, Robert Nutt and his wife Phyllis, Donald Nutt, Randy Nutt and his companion Linda Roberts all of Quincy, Gary Nutt and his wife Lilly and Rodney Nutt both of Springfield, IL., Mickey Nutt of Iowa City, IA. and Dennis Nutt and his wife Geri of Tracy, CA.; five daughters, Roberta Guthrie, Jayma Arnold and her husband Bill, Karen Hunolt and her husband Richard and Cindy Willingham and her husband Milton all of Quincy and Vicki Cole and her husband Bill of Ewing, MO.; 41 grandchildren; 62 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; two sisters in law, Rena Godwin and Loretta Hartsock both of Pleasant HIll, IL.; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Nutt was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Kerry Nutt; a daughter, Marcia Hale; a daughter in law, Jane Nutt; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a brother, Guy Hartsock; two sisters, Florene Davis and a sister in infancy; and a brother in law, Homer Godwin. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10:30 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. George Tomko. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening from 4:00 to 8:00 and Saturday until the time of services at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Blessing Foundation for Hospice. |
