| Mrs. Anna Mae Parrack, 76, of 640 Madison, died at 6:15 p.m. Saturday (April 14, 2001) in Blessing Hospital. Born June 6, 1924 in Louisiana, MO., Mrs. Parrack was the daughter of Virginia Quaiter. She married Elmer "Pete" Parrack on May 15, 1944 in Quincy. He survives. Mrs. Parrack enjoyed cooking, crafts, and crocheting. She also enjoyed feeding and watching birds and other animals. Anna was employed as a cook and waitress at Timmer's Family Restaurant and Bar and was also employed at Davis Cleaver's Kraft Foods until her retirement in 1986. Also surviving are four sons, William "Bill" Farran of Leslie, MI., Jim Farran and his wife Darlene of Quincy, Jack Farran and his wife Clara of Ballwin, MO., and Ray Parrack of Springfield, IL.; twelve grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Parrack was preceded in death by her mother; three brothers; and one sister. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10:30 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. Keith Ehresman. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday until the time of services in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Blessing Foundation for Hospice. |
