| Mrs. Ida C. Perry, 69, of rural Liberty, died at 11:44 p.m. Friday (October 12, 2001) in Blessing Hospital. Born March 21, 1932 in Quincy, Ida was the daughter of Herman John and Mabel Dora Clingingsmith Rottman. She marred William V. Perry on September 24, 1950 in Burton. He survives. Mrs. Perry was a member of the Burton Memorial Presbyterian Church. She was a 1950 graduate of Payson Seymour High School, a charter member of the Great River Genealogical Society, and did volunteer work at Blessing Hospital and the Quincy Public Library. She had been employed as a secretary for various businesses in the Quincy area until her retirement in 1970. Ida is also survived by one daughter, Dr. Crystal Perry of Quincy, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 10:00 at the Burton Memorial Presbyterian Church conducted by the ministers who have served the church through the years. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 at the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home and Tuesday morning from 9:00 until the time of services at the church. Memorials may be made to the Burton Memorial Presbyterian Church. |
