LILLIAN D. PRYOR
 
Mrs. Lillian D. Pryor, 76, of the Timber Point Health Care Center in Camp Point, IL., formerly of 2815 Vermont, went home to join her husband Edwin and the Lord at 12:10 a.m. Tuesday (July 9, 2002) in Blessing Hospital.

Born November 4, 1925 in New London, MO., Lillian was the daughter of Walter and Bertie Webb Jessup. She married Edwin L. Pryor on February 9, 1945 in Ft. Madison, IA. He preceded her in death on May 11, 1992.

Lillian was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church. She was active with the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts and the V. F. W., American Legion and Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary's, where she was a past President. Lillian also volunteered for many years at the Illinois Veterans Home.

She was employed for many years at the Women's City Club and later as a dietician for Adams School. She retired in 1990.

Surviving is a daughter, Linda Gentry and her husband Niles of Moline; a son, Riley A. Pryor Sr. and his wife Patti of Quincy; five grandchildren, Brian Gentry and his wife Amy of Ft. Benning, GA., Joellyn Jones and her husband Greg of Morganstown, W. V., Matthew Gentry and his wife Brandi of Milan, IL., Riley A. Pryor Jr. and his wife of Courtney of Camp Point and Timothy C. Pryor and his wife Lydia of Steffenville, MO.; 8 great grandchildren, Adonis, Niles, Marcus and Adarios Jones, Suzanne Hann, and Brian, Abigail and Alexander Gentry; two sisters, Elizabeth Castle of Quincy and Christina McFadden of Brooksville, FL.; a brother in law, Willis "Bill" Pryor and his wife Nadine of Quincy; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Pryor was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two great grandchildren; five brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10:00 in Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. Tom Rains. Burial will be in Quincy Memorial Park.

Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 and Friday until the time of services at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the First Southern Baptist Church or to Washington Elementary School in Moline, IL.
