| Mr. Tony Pullam, 83, of Ursa, died at 9:00 p.m. Monday (April 8, 2002) in Blessing Hospital. Born March 12, 1919 in Lynville, IL., Tony was the son of Henry and Lottie Schofield Pullam. He married Peggy Jackson on August 13, 1947 in Springfield, IL. She died March 9, 1985. Tony enjoyed fishing and woodworking and was a fifty year member of the National Organization of Refrigerator Service Engineers Society. He served in the U. S. Navy in the Pacific during WWII. Mr. Pullam was the owner and operator on Tony's Refrigeration for 38 years until his retirement in 1988. Surviving is a daughter, Doris Ann Warren and her husband Vern of Kimberling City, MO.; a son, Larry Robert "Bob" Pullam and his wife Nancy of Lizton, IN.; seven grandchildren, Larry Warren and his wife Antonella of Bensenville, IL., David Warren and his wife Susan of Rock Island, IL., Ann Warren of Minneapolis, MN., Joy Koors and her husband Steve, and Wayne Pullam and his wife Tanya, both of Lizton, IN., Mark Pullam and his wife Michelle and Jason Pullam both of Quincy; thirteen great grandchildren; one great great grandson; two brothers, Everett Pullam and his wife Alberta, and Russell Pullam, both of Jacksonville, IL.; a Daughter in Law, Peggy Jo Pullam of Quincy; and a special friend, Darlene Schnelle of Ursa. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and one son, Howard Pullam. Cremation rites were accorded. Private family memorial services will be held at a later date.
