Mr. Doug Raleigh, 44, of Monticello, MO., died at 6:40 p.m. Thursday (November 13, 2003) in his home.

Born October 11, 1959 in Troy, MO., Doug was the son of Edwin and Mary White Raleigh. He married Lina Davis on July 21, 2001. She survives.

Doug loved hunting, fishing, and collecting Indian artifacts.

He was employed at Trinity Industries and later at Titan Wheel until his retirement due to ill health.

Surviving is his wife, Lina of Monticello; three daughters, Tiffany and Cheyanne Raleigh, both of Canton, MO., and Samantha Raleigh of Warsaw, MO.; a son, John White of Monticello, MO.; two grandsons, Calvin Kincheloe and Chance Raleigh, both of Warsaw, MO.; two sisters, Janet Johnson and her husband Aubrey of Liberty, TX., and Debbie Johnson and her husband Joe of Ewing, MO.; nine brothers, Albert Raleigh and his wife Marian of Prescott, AZ., Larry Raleigh and his wife Georganne of Liberty, TX., Joe Raleigh and his wife Tami of Dewey, AZ., James Raleigh of Ewing, MO., Paul Raleigh and his wife Luria of Monticello, MO., Richard Raleigh and his wife Sue of Monroe City, MO., Charles Raleigh and his friend Cheryl of Iowa City, IA., Frank Raleigh and his friend Lorrie of Wyaconda, MO., and E.J. Raleigh and his wife Samantha of Warsaw, MO.; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Cremation rites were accorded to Mr. Raleigh. Graveside services will be held Sunday afternoon at 3:00 in the Little Mountain Cemetery in Monticello, MO. by Pastor Matt Simer.

Memorials may be made to the Doug Raleigh Memorial Fund or to his children's education fund.
