Born January 15, 1931 in Quincy, Donald was the son of Charles Owen and Laura Tate Reddick. Donald loved to spend his time reading and socializing with others. He served his country as a Second Lieutenant in the Army during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Reddick was a minister for the Nazerine Church in Illinois and the surrounding areas for many years. Surviving are two sons, Donald Reddick Jr. and his wife Dena of Bourbonnais, IL., and Randy Reddick and his wife Chris of Bethalto, IL.; one daughter, Penny Sue Creamer and her husband Don of Imperial, MO.; five grandchildren; three sisters, Eugenia Lovedy of Keithsburg, IL., Charlene Cunningham and her husband Bobby of Lantana, FL., and Elaine Smith and her husband Willy of Quincy; three brothers, Lawrence Reddick and his wife Dorothy of Florissant, CO., Frank Dee Reddick and his wife Virginia, and Ernie Reddick and his fiancé Barb, all of Quincy; and his ex-wife, Jean Hart and her husband Jerry of Mapaville, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10:00 in Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by Dr. Alan Dace. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 and Friday morning until the time of services at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Blessing Hospice. |
