VIRGINIA REEVES
 

Mrs. Virginia Reeves, 81, of the St. Vincent's Home, formerly of Camp Point and Quincy area, died at 9:30 p.m. Monday (October 21, 2002) in Blessing Hospital.

Born September 4, 1921 in Omaha, Nebraska, Virginia was the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Harvey Mills. She married Paul Reeves in 1942 in Omaha, Nebraska. He died August 9, 1997.

Virginia was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Camp Point. She enjoyed gardening.

Virginia was employed as a machinist for Cannon Electric in Los Angeles, CA. for many years until her retirement in 1971. She moved back to the Quincy and Camp Point area in 1974.

Surviving are two sons, Donald Reeves and his wife Cynthia Kay of Quincy and Aaron P. Reeves and his wife Patricia of Newberry Springs, CA.; a daughter, Kay Fredrick of Fowler; four grandchildren, Laura Fredrick and Misty Wiemelt and her husband Chris all of Quincy and Cyndi Roberts and Lori Reeves both of Anaheim, CA.; and three great grandchildren.

Mrs. Reeves was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a granddaughter, Sheila Epker; four great grandchildren; and a sister.

Cremation rites were accorded to Mrs. Reeves. Memorial services will be held Friday morning at 10:00 in Faith Baptist Church in Camp Point by the Rev. Tom Robbins.

Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the Faith Baptist Church or St. Vincent's Home.
