Mrs. Wilma K. Riley, 89, of 1530 Monroe, died at 5:45 a.m. Thursday (June 19, 2003) in Blessing Hospital. Born April 27, 1914 in Quincy, Wilma was the daughter of William and Valentine Lotz Schultz. She married Harold Riley in 1937 in Palmyra, MO. He died in 1969. Mrs. Riley enjoyed traveling. She was employed at Motorola for 26 years retiring in 1973. She was later employed at Images Offset Printing from 1986 until 1997. Surviving are two daughters, Barbara Miller and her husband Wesley of Payson, and Deborah Esneault and her husband Mark of Quincy; one son, Terry Riley and his wife Diane of Quincy; five grandchildren, Jason Riley and his wife Annette of Payson, Bradford Riley of Miami, FL., Brenda Zanger and her husband Ernest of Mendon, Eric Riley, Kevin Riley, and Stephanie Buss and her husband Bryan, all of Quincy; six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Richard Riley; three brothers, George, Charles, and Harold Schultz; and five sisters, Gertrude Whitcomb, Dorothy Carpenter, Leona Banks, Marie DeVore, and Eleanor Arrowsmith. Funeral services will be held Monday morning 11:00 in Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by Rev. George Tomko. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday evening from 3:00 until 6:00 and Monday morning until the time of services at the funeral home Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the American Heart Association. |
