Rev. Charles Wesley Robertson, 59, of 910 N. 10th St., died at 4:53 p.m. Wednesday (January 15, 2003) in his home. Born April 1, 1943 in Coffeeville, Mississippi, Charles was the son of Charles Wesley and Sadie Pauline Cade Robertson. He married Loreea Correll on April 7, 1979 in Kirksville, Missouri. She survives. Rev. Robertson was a member of the House of Prayer in Kinderhook. He founded Nehemiah Missions in 1991 and currently served as the President and Minister. Also surviving are two sons, Richard Robertson of Granite City, IL. and Charles Brandon Robertson, serving with the U. S. Marine Corp stationed in Camp Pendleton, CA.; three daughters, Kimberly Robertson and Clara Robertson both of Quincy and Sadia Lynn Robertson of Puerta Cabezas, Nicaragua; four grandchildren, Wesley Robertson, Erika Turner, Abagail Robertson and Charles Robertson all of Granite City, IL.; three brothers, Walter Robertson of Canton, MS., Ira Robertson of Clarksdale, MS. and Boyd Robertson of Marion, AR.; four sisters, Julia Buchanan of Jackson, MS., Eileen Wiltshire and her husband Morris of Southaven, MS., Genieva Wiltshire and her husband Bobby of Marion, AR. and Barbara Moore and her husband Larry of Clarksdale, MS.; a sister in law, Dianne Robertson of Clarksdale, MS.; and several nieces and nephews. Rev. Robertson was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, J. P. Robertson. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 3:00 in the Living Waters Fellowship by Marvin Cook. Graveside services will be held Monday afternoon at 1:00 in the Calvary Cemetery in Edwardsville, IL. Visitation will be Saturday afternoon from 1:00 until the time of services in Living Waters Fellowship. Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
