Miss Florine E. Rosendale, 87,of the Sycamore Health Care Center,
formerly of 418 Chestnut, died at 3:00 p.m. Monday (September 20, 2004)
at
Sycamore Health Care Center.
Born March 5, 1917 in Golden, Illinois, Florine was the daughter of
George and Anna Heinecke Rosendale.
Florine was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, the Lutheran Women's
Federation and the Ten Year Plus Club at Blessing Hospital. She was employed
for Ely Walker Co. and later in the Blessing Hospital Laundry Department
for
26 years. She retired in 1982.
Survivors include a sister, Eveline Behrens of Quincy; and many nieces
and nephews including, Melvin Lubben and his wife Rita, Roy Rosendale
and
his wife Norma, Betty McGinn and her husband James, and Terry Behrens
all of
Quincy, Freddie Behrens and his wife Shelia of Golden, Ted Behrens and
his
wife Susan of Galesburg and Patti Platt of Arlington, TX.
Miss Rosendale was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers,
George Rosendale, John Rosendale and Clarence Rosendale; and three sisters,
Hattie Rosendale, Kate Behrens and Anna Rosendale.
Graveside services will be held Thursday afternoon at 1:00 in the
Golden Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Marlin Rempfer.
Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 at the
Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home in Quincy
.
