| Mr. Harold Saeger, 87, of 8511 Rock Quarry Rd., died at 5:10 p.m. Wednesday (December 4, 2002) in his home. Born February 13, 1915 in Quincy, Harold was the son of Frederick William and Emma Wilhelmina Bauch Saeger. He married Wilma M. Berblinger on October 13, 1945 in Quincy. She died in October of 1966. Harold enjoyed working with electronic equipment and repairing radios. He also loved to read and listen to classical music. Mr. Saeger was employed as a machinist at Brower Manufacturing Company for many years until his retirement in 1980. Surviving are two brothers, Kenneth E. Saeger and his wife Norma, and Franklin T. Saeger and his wife Arlene, both of Quincy; two sisters, Irene Hunter of Fenton, MO., and Lucille Mae Dearwester of Paloma; and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and one brother, William F. Saeger. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 1:00 in Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by Rev. Lawrence Saeger. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday afternoon from 12:00 until the time of services at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Blessing Hospice or to the charity of the donor's choice. |
