| Mrs. Frances A. Schrepfer, 87, of St. Vincents Home, formerly of LaGrange, MO., died at 4:43 p.m. Sunday (April
21, 2002) in St. Vincents Home. Born October 21, 1914 in Fandon, IL., Frances was the daughter of Fred and Harriet Dickison. She was raised in the home of Ples and Lucy Goodwin. She was married to Leslie Stanbridge and Charles Adler. She married Lowell Schrepfer on July 6, 1964 in Payson. He died in January, 1986. Frances was of the Catholic Faith. She was a member of the American Business Women's Association, the Third Order and Ladies of Charity. Frances was the owner and operator of the Frances Shelter Care Home at 4th and Locust in Quincy for many years. She retired in 1976. Surviving are three daughters, Frances Ensor and her husband Richard of LaGrange, MO., Charla Walton and Sharon Giroux and her husband Michael both of Quincy; a daughter in law, Maria Stanbridge of San Antonio, TX.; 14 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren. Mrs. Schrepfer was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sons, William and Milton Stanbridge; and a sister, Ann Dickison. Graveside memorial services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 in Woodland Cemetery by the Rev. George Tomko. There will be no visitation, but friends are invited to the services. Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. |
