Ms. Anna Marie Schroeder, 89,
of Sunset Home, formerly of 620 Pawn
Ave., died at 11:15 p.m. Friday (November 5, 2004) at the home.
Born October 4, 1915 in rural Fowler, IL., Marie was the daughter of
Frederick and Lulu Kollmeyer Schroeder.
Ms. Schroeder was a member of Salem Evangelical United Church of Christ
and was very active in the Quilters and Evening Guild organizations at
the
church.
Marie was employed as a licensed practical nurse at St. Mary's Hospital
for many years until her retirement.
Surviving is her brother, Harold Schroeder and his wife Faye; her
sister in law, Frances Schroeder; ten nieces and nephews, Chuck Schroeder
and his wife Diane, Dean Schroeder, Karen Blair, Donna Colvin and her
husband Ted, and Barbara Peter and her husband James, all of Quincy; Janice
Febus and her husband Bob of Taylorville, IL., Susan Clayton and her husband
Cal of Rockton, IL., Gaye Georges and her husband Mark of Dayton, Ohio,
Harold Kit Schroeder and his wife Jane of Reston, VA., and Kay Macias
and
her husband Leo of Lafayette, CA.; and 18 great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, Edgar
Schroeder, Ray Schroeder and Lowell Schroeder.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 10:30 at the Zehender
Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by Rev. Stephen Schuette. Burial
will
be in Greenmount Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday morning from 9:30 until the time of services
at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Salem Church or to Sunset Home.
