| Mrs. Marcella S. Thoreson, 72, of 423 Angle St., Plainville, died at 5:30 p.m. Saturday (June 30, 2001) in her
home. Born July 16, 1928 in Bismarck, North Dakota, Marcella was the daughter of Dan and Nina Savich. She married Anderson Franklin on February 3, 1954. She later married Duane Thoreson on October 17, 1991 in Phoenix, AZ. He survives. Marcella was a member of the Worldwide Church of God in Macomb. Also surviving are two daughters, Myrlene Franklin of Hull and Retina Kaye Still and her husband Lennie of Payson; four grandchildren, Joseph Daniel Franklin and Joshua David Still both of Payson and Bobbie Raye Lewis and Ronnie Kaye Franklin both of Hull. Marcella was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Tessie Blouin and Mary King. Memorial services will be held Tuesday morning at 10:00 in Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home in Payson by the Rev. Brent Sanders. There will be no visitation, but friends are invited to the services. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. |
