| Mr. Daniel R. Uhlenbrock, 58, of Mendon, died at 2:20 a.m. Sunday (December 9, 2001) in Blessing Hospital. Born December 18, 1942, in Quincy, Daniel was the son of Paul Frederick and Ruby Lorene Cannon Uhlenbrock. He was a member of the South Side Boat Club and enjoyed owning and riding horses. He served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War. Daniel was employed by Premier Linen Company for several years until his retirement in July this year due to illness. Surviving are two brothers, Donald Uhlenbrock and Nicholas Uhlenbrock, both of Quincy; a special nephew, Timothy Uhlenbrock and his wife Martha of Quincy; three nieces, Vikki Uhlenbrock, Debbie Wells and Roger, and Tracy Grant and Randy, all of Quincy; and several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Graveside services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 at Greenmount Cemetery by the Rev. George Tomko. Quincy American Legion Post #37 will conduct Military services at the graveside. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 at the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Blessing Hospice. |
