Mr. Raymond C. Vincent, 72, of 2015 Hampshire, formerly of RR 1 Maywood, Missouri, died at 6:05 a.m. Saturday (July 13, 2002) in Blessing Hospital.

Born May 6, 1930 in Bland, Missouri, Raymond was the son of Robert and Georgene Hoke Vincent. He married Anna Marie Carper on September 3, 1948 in Palmyra, MO. She survives.

Mr. Vincent was employed at Motorola for 27 years and then as a supervisor in the Housekeeping Department of Blessing Hospital for 8 years until his retirement. He enjoyed horseshoes and golf and spending time with his family.

Also surviving is a son, Dennis Vincent and his wife Marilyn of Quincy; a daughter, Tammie Kay Davis and her husband Ray of Quincy; four grandchildren, Denise Goodwin and her husband David and Jason Vincent and his fiancé Kim all of Lewistown, MO. and Nicholas Davis and Katheryn Davis both of Quincy; three great grandchildren, Darrol, Tyler and LaDonna; two sisters, June Thomas of Quincy and Evelyn Lake and her husband James of Palmyra, MO.; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Vincent was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Henry, James and John Vincent; and two sisters, Wanita Goetch and Lucille Karo.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10:30 in Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. Gary Livesay. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 and Wednesday morning until the time of services at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the American Red Cross.
