Mr. Glenn E. Voth, 75, of the Barry Community Care Center, formerly of rural Plainville, died at 1:00 a.m. Tuesday morning (November 6, 2001) in the Community Care Center.

Born May 6, 1926 in Quincy, Glenn was the son of Edward C. and Helen C. Laaker Voth. He married Louise Kaden on November 8, 1959 in Marion County, MO. She survives.

Glenn was a member of the First Baptist Church in Plainville and the Plainville Lions Club. He enjoyed trap shooting and trout fishing. Glenn loved his grandchildren and cherished the time he spent with them.

Glenn farmed in the Plainville area his entire life and was also a self employed carpenter.

Surviving are two sons, Doug Voth and his wife Paula of Plainville and Darren Voth of Bloomington; three daughters, Danette Rabe and her husband Eric of Loraine, Diane Schroeder and her husband Chuck of Quincy and Donna French and her husband Ron of Olathe, KS.; seven grandchildren, Kristen and Brittany French of Olathe, KS., Shannon and Claire Rabe of Loraine, Ben Schroeder of Quincy, Megan Miles of Chicago and Jennifer Miles of Plainville; a brother, Charles Voth and his wife Jean of Waco, TX.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mr. Voth was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. in Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home in Payson by the Rev. Bill Baughman and Rev. Larry Stewart. Burial will be in the Stewart Cemetery in Plainville.

Visitation will be Thursday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Friday until the time of services in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home in Payson.

Memorials may be made to the Barry Community Care Center, the Plainville Baptist Church and the Woodland Care Center of Hannibal Regional Hospital.
