| Mrs. Linda Sue Wallace, 44, of 833 Van Buren, died at 6:25 p.m. Tuesday (September 25, 2001) in her home. Born July 26, 1957 in Quincy, Linda Sue was the daughter of Gary E. and Carol Sue Coyle Hipkins. She married Kenneth Wallace on November 12, 1976 in Geneva, IL. He died on March 6, 2001. Linda Sue was a graduate of Elgin High School. She was employed in the Distribution Department of the Elk Grove, IL. Post Office for 4 years and later for Schlotzky's Deli for 1 1/2 years. Surviving are her parents, Gary and Carol Hipkins of Quincy; Katherine "Katy" Veile and her husband Anthony of Quincy; two sons, Jeremy Wallace and his wife June of Quincy and Patrick Wallace of Elgin; a granddaughter, Shai Ann Wallace of Quincy; and two brothers, G. Dean Hipkins and his wife Darlene of Genoa, IL., and L. Todd Hipkins of Quincy. Linda Sue was preceded in death by her husband. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 in Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by Chaplain Susan Bays. Cremation rites will be accorded Linda Sue following the funeral service. Visitation will be held Saturday from 12:00 Noon until the time of services at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Blessing Foundation for Hospice. |
