| Mr. Kevin D. Wear, 32 of 1304 Chestnut, died at 8:29 a.m. Wednesday (January 9, 2002) in his home. Born November 28, 1969 in Quincy, Kevin was the son of Howard E. and Peggy Kelley Wear Jr. A 1987 graduate of Quincy High School, Kevin had been employed as a truck driver by the City of Quincy since 1989. He was a member of the Machinist Lodge 822 and enjoyed listening to music. Surviving are his parents, Howard and Peggy Wear Jr of Quincy; a sister, Cindy Mock and her husband John of Quincy; a nephew, Caleb Mock of Quincy; two nieces, Kiersten Mock and Callie Mock both of Quincy; his maternal grandfather, Marvin L. Kelley of Quincy; his paternal grandfather, Howard E. Wear Sr. of Loraine; and several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Kevin was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Delores H. Wear; maternal grandmother, Eva Leona Kelley; and a niece, Caitlin Mock. Funeral Services will be held Saturday morning at 10:00 in Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. Oliver Taube. Burial will be in Curless Cemetery in Loraine. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 and Saturday morning until the time of services at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Quincy Humane Society. |
