Mrs. Peggy Sue Wear, 56, of 1519 Sycamore, died at 7:45 p.m. Sunday (December 14, 2003) in her home. Born November 21, 1947 in Quincy, Peggy was the daughter of Marvin L. and Eva L. Green Kelley. She married Howard E. Wear Jr. on September 11, 1965 in Quincy. Peggy worked as a home health aid for the Adams County Homemaker's Association for many years. Survivors include a daughter, Cindy Mock and her husband John of Quincy; three grandchildren, Caleb Mock, Kiersten Mock and Callie Mock all of Quincy; two sisters, Patricia Muegge and her husband Charles of Raleigh, N. C. and Marva Gilbert and her husband Tom of Quincy; a brother, Ronald Leroy Kelley and his wife Mary Ann of Canyon Lake, CA.; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Wear was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Kevin D. Wear; a granddaughter, Caitlin Mock; and a brother, Michael Kelley. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 11:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. George Tomko. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 and Thursday until the time of services at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Blessing Foundation. |
