Mrs. Judith White, 63, of 2011 North 5th, died at 5:34 p.m. Thursday (April 24, 2003) in her home.

Born September 8, 1939 in Quincy, Judy was the daughter of Martin Henry and Johanna Esther Siebrasse Willing. She married James E. Lake on February 7, 1956 in Quincy. She later married Paul L. White on December 2, 1989 in Quincy. He died January 13, 2000.

Judy attended First Presbyterian Church and was a member of the Quincy Volunteer Emergency Corps, Wildlife Forever, World Wildlife, National Wildlife Federation, Ducks Unlimited, M. A. D. D., the U. S. O. and the O. D. A. Boat Racing Association. She was also a Past Commander of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary and was a hunter safety education instructor for 25 years.

Surviving is James Lake; two sons, Jeff Lake and his wife Dana of Quincy and Tim Lake of Mendon; a daughter, Cindy Goehl and her husband Mike of Quincy; a daughter in law, Tracy Brown of Adams; nine grandchildren, Jennifer Baldwin, Michael Goehl and his wife Julie, Brian Goehl and Kim, Abbigayle Lake, and Brandon Lake all of Quincy, Jessica Baldwin of Hannibal, MO., and Lee Ann Lake, Timma Lake and Dustin Lake all of Mendon; nine great grandchildren, T. J. Crabtree, Tony Goehl, Austin Goehl, Kayla Goehl, Kortney Goehl, Ashlynn Goehl, Alex Goehl and Tyler Goehl all of Quincy and Zachary Brothers of Hannibal, MO.; three brothers, W. Eldon Willing and his wife Joann, Marvin J. Willing and Ronald G. Willing and his wife Lucille all of Quincy; three sisters, Genevieve L. Bockenfeld and her husband Don of Lake Havasu City, AZ., Phyllis M. Simpson and her husband Al of Parker, AZ. and Rosemary A. Mollette and her husband Frank of Pahrump, NV.; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. White was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Paul; a son, Rodney "Moose" Lake; a daughter, Kaye Louise Lake; four brothers, Edward, Joseph, Virgil and Robert Willing; and a sister, Margaret McClinthen.

Cremation rites were accorded to Mrs. White. Memorial services will be held Monday morning at 10:30 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. Rod Bakker.

Visitation will be Sunday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 and Monday until the time of services at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Blessing Foundation for Hospice or the St. Jude's Children's Hospital
