WILMA L. WIESEMANN
 

Mrs. Wilma L. Wiesemann, 87, of Good Samaritan Home, formerly of 427 N. 7th, died at 9:02 a.m. Sunday (May 25, 2003) in the home.

Born June 16, 1915 in Maywood, MO., Wilma was the daughter of Cecil and Anna Lee Kerfoot Smith. She married Joseph M. Wiesemann on October 2, 1937 in Canton, MO. He died May 30, 1985.

Mrs. Wiesemann was of the Baptist faith. She was active in the church where she taught Sunday School and played the organ. Wilma was a loving mother who devoted her life to her family, especially taking great pride and joy in her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her family.

Wilma help her husband in his business at Quincy Radiator and Welding. From 1961 until 1985 Wilma was an Avon sales representative where she made many friends through the years.

Surviving is a daughter, Jolene Fischer and her husband Richard of Quincy; two grandchildren, Kevin Fischer and his wife Lynn of Quincy, and Kimberly Dieterle and her husband Randy of Camp Point; two great grandchildren, Darin and Deidre Dieterle, both of Camp Point; a step sister, Doris Utter of Quincy; a step brother, Roger Exon and his wife Helene of San Diego, CA.; one niece, Norma Hackamack of Jefferson City, MO; and two nephews, Donald Wiesemann and his wife Phyllis of Quincy, and Louis Wiesemann and his wife Joan of Palmyra, MO.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; step father, Ed McChristy; and a step brother-in-law, Charles Utter.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday morning at 11:00 in Greenmount Cemetery by Rev. Steven Disseler.

Visitation will be Wednesday morning from 9:45 until 10:45 at Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the Dover Cemetery Association or to Good Samaritan Home.
