CHARLES A. WILLIAMS SR.

Mr. Charles A. Williams Sr., 70, of 527 Broadway, died at 10:20 p.m. Wednesday (November 17, 2004) at Blessing Hospital. Born December 14, 1933 in Quincy, Charles was the son of Alexander A. and Blanche B. Cate Williams. Charles loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, camping and gardening. He was employed for 34 years at Quincy Compressor, Colt Industries until his retirement. Survivors include a son, Charles A. Williams Jr. and his wife Kathy of Quincy; two daughters, Sheryl Mook and her husband Terry of Hannibal, MO. and Teresa Hageman and her husband John of Mendon; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; a brother, George Williams of Quincy; a sister, Connie Liebig and her husband Roger of Quincy; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Bernice Voots. Graveside services will be Monday afternoon at 2:00 in Quincy Memorial Park by the Rev. George Tomko. Visitation will be Monday afternoon from 1:00 to 1:45 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
