Mrs. Debbie G. Winget, 42,
of Beecher City, IL. formerly of Quincy,
died at 9:55 a.m. Wednesday (June 16, 2004) in Edwards County, IL.
Born April 22, 1962 in Quincy, Debbie was the daughter of Arthur Taute
and Melba Biswell. She married Lonnie Winget on October 31, 1997 in
Effingham, IL. He survives.
Debbie enjoyed raising dogs, fishing and camping. She also loved to
visit with her family whenever possible.
Mrs. Winget was employed as a waitress for various restaurants in
Effingham and Quincy.
Surviving are two daughters, Opal Powell and Cindy Powell, both of
Beecher City, IL.; one step daughter, Misty Winget of Augusta; one son,
Everett Powell of Beecher City; one step son, Lance Winget of Quincy;
two
grandchildren, Bishop A. Roberts and Landon Roberts, both of Augusta,
two
brothers, Bobby Taute and his wife Patti of Quincy, and George Taute of
Zephyer Hills, FL.; two sisters, Jennie Galbraith and her husband Danny
of
Quincy, and Monica Trotter and her husband Frank of Merom, IN.; and several
nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother; and her maternal and paternal
grandparents.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday evening at 7:00 at the Zehender
Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by Rev. Oliver Taube. Cremation
rites
will be accorded to Mrs. Winget and private family burial will take place
at
a later date.
Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 at the
funeral home.
