Mr. Steven Woosley, 52, of Miami, FL., formerly of Quincy, died at 8:58 p.m. Thursday (October 23, 2003) in his home in Florida. Born December 2, 1950 in Florence, IL., Steven was the son of Oral L. and Myrtle G. Davis Woosley. Mr. Woosley was loved by his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He owned and operated Steven B's Beauty Shop in Quincy for several years. He later moved to Miami, FL. where he was employed as a real estate agent. Surviving is a very special friend, William Blasdel of Miami, FL.; five brothers, Ronald Woosley and his wife Vera of Bluffs, IL, Donald Woosley and wife Charlotte of Quincy; Clyde Woosley and his wife Connie of Austin, TX., Tony Woosley and his wife Lori of Sandwich, IL., and Gene Street and his wife Paula of Pittsfield, IL.; two sisters, Patricia Meyers and her husband Gene of Quincy, and Tammy Pennell of Winchester, IL.; fifteen nieces and nephews; and several aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Ricky Woosley. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 10:00 at the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by Rev. James Finn. Burial will be in Blue River Cemetery near Detroit IL. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 and Thursday morning until the time of services at the funeral home.
