Mr. Robert L. Worman, 61, of 6700 Benz Road, Payson, died at 8:25 p.m.
Saturday (July 10, 2004) in Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Born April 26, 1943 in Quincy, Bob was the son of Fred and Adrain
Rowley Worman. He married Joyce Turner on May 5, 1972 in Mendon. She
survives.

Mr. Worman served his country in the U. S. Air Force from 1961 to 1965.

A graduate of Unity High School in Mendon, Bob attended Culver Stockton
College and Quincy College before beginning his career as a Metallurgist
with the Gardner Denver Company, where he worked for 10 years. In 1983 he
was employed by Die Makers in Monroe City, Missouri, where he worked for 21
years until his retirement in March, 2004.

Bob was an avid Cardinals fan and loved animals. He enjoyed couples
Western dancing and working with his hands by building and doing remodeling
projects.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce, of Payson; his mother, Adrain
Johnson of Mendon; two fathers in law, Harold Hoskins and Fred Ballinger
both of Quincy; three sisters, Darlene Bengtson and her husband Jan of
Fowler, Delores Kendrick of Quincy and Jackie Summy of Chesterfield, MO.; a
brother, Larry Worman and his wife Shirley of Mendon; ten nephews, John
Turner and his wife Marla of Jacksonville, FL., Christopher Worman of
Jefferson City, MO., Steven Secrest and his wife Christy of Sumter, S. C.,
Danny Joe Kendrick and his wife Kay of Camp Point, Rick Kendrick and his
wife Marsha and Jeffery Kendrick and his wife Shelly both of Quincy, Ronald
Kendrick and his wife Judy and Jamie Kendrick and his wife Kim both of
Mendon, Randy Alaniz and his wife Ronna of St. Louis, MO. and Rory Alaniz
and his wife Kim of Caseyville, IL.; a niece, Christy Sharpe and her
husband David of W infield, MO.; and several great nieces and great nephews
and great great nieces and great great nephews.

Mr. Worman was preceded in death by his father, Fred Worman; a step
father, Russell Johnson; his mother in law, Betty Hoskins; a brother in law
Roy Secrest Jr.; and a sister in law, Judy Bohne.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10:00 in the
Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home in Quincy by the Rev. Jan
Bengtson. Burial with military honors by the Payson V. F. W. Post 2061 will
be in Shiloh Cemetery near Plainville.

Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 and Wednesday
morning until the time of services at the funeral home in Quincy.

Memorials may be made to the Quincy Humane Society or the American
Cancer Society.
