Adam C Drebes

May 26, 1984 ~ December 27, 2014 (age 30)

   Adam Charles Drebes, 30, of Quincy, died at 4:20 p.m. Saturday (December 27, 2014) in Quincy.

   Born May 26, 1984 in Quincy, Adam was the son of Charles K. "Chuck" Drebes and Belinda Earnest Hoener.

   An avid hunter, Adam was a member of the Archery Club and helped his son in his Cub Scouts Troop.  Adam was a devoted father who loved being involved with his children's activities.

   Adam was currently employed as an operator and welder for Shortridge Construction in Quincy.

   Survivors include his children, Preston Lee Mason Drebes and Leigha Lynn Drebes both of Quincy; his father, Chuck Drebes (Ellen) of Fowler, IL; his mother, Belinda Hoener (William) of Quincy; two sisters, Kim Sparrow (Michael) of Canton, MO and Jamie Niewohner (Nick) of Quincy; three nephews, Riley Sparrow, Zachary Sparrow and Blake Sparrow; two nieces, Avery Niewohner and Lilly Niewohner; Maternal grandmother, Joan Earnest of Quincy; Paternal grandparents, Lowell and Clarann Drebes of Quincy; a step sister, Kara Hoffman (Eric) of Quincy; three step brothers, Travis Woods (Amanda) of Fowler, IL, Gabe Hoener (Kellie) and Jonathan Hoener both of Quincy; and many loving, step nieces, step nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

   Adam was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Marvin Earnest.

   Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10:30 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.

   Visitation will be Thursday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 and Friday morning until the time of services at the funeral home.

   Memorials may be made to Adam's children's educational fund in care of Belinda Hoener.
