Beth A Schueddig-Howe

July 23, 1917 ~ January 26, 2014 (age 96)

   Mrs. Beth A. Schueddig-Howe, 96, of Kansas City, Missouri formerly of St. Louis and Quincy died Sunday (January 26, 2014) in the North Care Hospice House in Kansas City.

   Born July 23, 1917 in St. Louis, Missouri she was the daughter of Desford and Nora Thomson Witbeck. She married Louis Schueddig Sr. on June 10, 1944. He preceded her in death in 1988. She then married Charles A. Howe on August 25, 1990 in Quincy. He preceded her in death on October 19, 2005.

   Beth was a member of Luther Memorial Church in Quincy and a graduate of Soldan High School in St. Louis. Beth was a very pleasant and loving person who loved to entertain and be with her family and friends. She also enjoyed reading. She was a wonderful wife and a devoted homemaker for her family.

   Survivors include; two sons, The Rev. Louis C. Schueddig Jr. of Atlanta, GA. and Thomas D. Schueddig (Jennifer) of St. Louis, MO; a daughter, Ellen Ann Dingwall (Robin) of Plano, TX; two step sons, Gregory J. Howe (Linda) of Quincy and Charles A. Howe III of Warner Robbins, GA; a step daughter, Sandra Suzanne Williams (Ken) of Ballwin, MO; nine grandchildren, Christopher Dingwall of Dallas, TX, Catherine Ann Morgan (Kent) of Plano, TX, Susan Gray (Derrick) and Gregory Schueddig (Rachel) both of Kansas City, MO; Taylor Hauser, Alesta Schueddig, Wendy Schueddig, Kahlivin Schueddig and Davion Schueddig all of St. Louis and five step grandchildren; seven great grandchildren, Cullum and Caitlin Morgan, Heather and Brian Dingwall, Mariah, Makayla and Madalyn Gray; several step great grandchildren and a sister, Nancy Quinn of Honolulu, Hawaii.

   Beth was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands, Louis Schueddig Sr. and Charles A. Howe; and a brother-in-law, William Quinn.

   A private family memorial service will be held Saturday February 8, 2014 at the St. Martins Episcopal Church in Ellisville, MO with the Rev. Emily Hinquist officiating.

   Memorials may be made to the St. Martins Episcopal Church or to the Episcopal Media Center in Atlanta, GA in care of  the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home, 1435 State St Quincy, IL 62301.
