Cheryl (Walker) Breuer

November 30, 1970 ~ October 29, 2018 (age 47)


  Cheryl Breuer, 47, of Quincy, passed away at 12:45 am Monday (October 29, 2018) at her home surrounded by her family.

   Born November 30, 1970 in Quincy, Cheryl was the daughter of Robert M."Bob" and Bonnie I. Hultz Walker.  She married Todd Eugene Breuer on September 16, 1989 in Quincy.  He survives.

  Cheryl was member of Salem Evangelical United Church of Christ and a 1988 graduate of Quincy High School and also attended John Wood Community College.  She loved all animals especially her dog Odie.  Cheryl was a very giving and loving person who was devoted to her family.  She was involved with the Neighborhood Federation giving much of her love and time to the many many children that was in need.  Most of all she loved spending time with all her grandchildren and doing family gatherings.

  Cheryl was employed as a social worker for various nursing homes in the area retiring due to ill health in 2015.

  Survivors include her husband Todd; one daughter Amanda McCormick (Chance) of Quincy; three sons Ryan Breuer and his fiance (Taylor Goehl), Tyler Breuer (Christina) and Gage Breuer all of Quincy; eleven grandchildren Logyn, Mateo, Elijah, Lyniah, Ava, Brandon, Abella, Aubreanna, Tylynn, Brandston and Preston.  Also surviving is one brother Jim Clemens (Charlotte) of Quincy; four sisters Joyce Sparrow (Lee) of Quincy, Susie Stiles (Kevin) of Ewing, MO, Donna Wentler of Springfield, MO and Shelia Moses (Hoss) of Caldwell, TX.   Also surviving are several loving nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and many close friends including Connie Johnson and Jonna Jackson.

  Mrs. Breuer was preceded in death by her parents and twin brothers Robert and Raymond.

   Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon 2:00 p.m. in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home with Pastor Matt Hunt officiating.  Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.

   Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home.

   Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
