Debra M. Hinkamper, 61, of Quincy, died at 11:44 a.m. Friday (May 27, 2016) in Blessing Hospital.
Born May 30, 1954 in Quincy, Debra was the daughter of James and Gladys Clark Rains. She married Ralph Hinkamper on October 19, 1998 in Quincy. He survives.
A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Deb loved spending time with her family, especially shopping with her sisters and nieces. She enjoyed tending to her flower garden, reading and bowling in her younger days.
Deb was employed at General Mills in Hannibal for 30 years, retiring in 2015.
Survivors include her husband, Ralph; a son, Jason Rains (Heather) of Broken Arrow, OK; three granddaughters, Hailee Rains and Madison Rains of New Hope, AL and Rory Dewees of Broken Arrow, OK; two sisters, Patsy Burns of Quincy and Kim Meyers (Mike) of Palmyra, MO; and many loving nephews and nieces including, Jacqueline Klauser (Leroy), Deanna Crossett (Ray) and Libby Steffen (Marshall) all of Quincy, Tiffany Decker, Stacy Decker, Shelbie Meyers and Eva Meyers all of Palmyra, MO, Adam Deming of Beaumont, TX and Mandy Skiles (Aaron).
Deb was preceded in death by her parents; and a nephew, Buddy Burns.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 11:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday morning from 9:00 until the time of services at the funeral home.
