Debra R. "Debbie" Stehl, 57, passed away at 12:56 p.m. Wednesday (May 16, 2018) in her home.
Born June 30, 1960 in Quincy, Debbie was the daughter of Charles and Ruth Reinhart Alderton. For more than 30 years she shared her life with Steve Seckman.
Debbie enjoyed bowling, watching Nascar and going to Quincy Raceways to cheer on her family with their racing teams.
In 1986, Debbie began her career with Ayerco at 24th & State working her way up to becoming manager until health problems in the last two years made her unable to work.
Survivors include her companion, Steve Seckman; her mother, Ruth Alderton of Quincy; two sons, Justin Stehl (Veronica) of Mendon, IL and Adam Stehl of Quincy; a daughter, Brandi Seckman of Quincy; eight grandchildren, Braden Stehl, Brodie Stehl, Bria Grant, Isabelle Nichols, Noah Nichols, Triniti Stehl, Taylyn Seckman and Easton Hanlin; a brother, Rick Frankel (Colleen) of Quincy; two sisters, Lori Frankel of Quincy and Terry Schreacke (Roger) of Liberty, IL; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Debbie was preceded in death by her father and her grandparents.
Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 9:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Henry officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 and Saturday morning from 8:30 until the time of services at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Justin Stehl to help the family with expenses.
