Dianne D. (Grawe) Hively

   Dianne D. Hively, 67, of Quincy, passed away at 9:10 a.m. Thursday (September 27, 2018) in her home.

   Born November 18, 1950 in Quincy, Dianne was the daughter of Virgil A. and Clara L. Goodwin Grawe.  She married Richard L. "Rich" Hively on June 5, 1970 in Quincy.  He preceded her in death on September 12, 2010.

   Dianne was a member of The Crossing.  Family was most important in her life.  She was a devoted wife, mother and sister and she cherished the time she spent caring for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

   Dianne was a 1969 graduate of Quincy Notre Dame.  She was employed in the housekeeping department at Blessing Hospital for 41 years, retiring in 2013.

   Survivors include a daughter, Leanne Hively-Tournear (Mark) of Quincy; four grandchildren, Brentt Michael Casey (Keela), Brittany Casey (Warren Mason), Brianna Tournear (Xavier Colon) and Brandon Tournear all of Quincy; eleven great grandchildren, Hunter, Haidden, Wyatt, Zaydenn, Zarriah, Waylon, Brooklyn, Zakaree, Hannah, Sherri and Trevyn with one due this January; three sisters, Sandra Grawe of Quincy, Susan Murry (Pat) of Quincy and Marilyn Solter (Lance) of St. Louis, MO; two brothers in law, Sam Hively (Donetta Scott) and Floyd Hively (Carol); two sisters in law, Karen Hively and Grace Bringer (Paul); many loving nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Riley Dill Hively.

   Dianne was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rich; a daughter, Heather Hively; and her father and mother in law, Marion and Grace Hively.

   Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10:30 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.

   Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 and Wednesday morning from 10:00 until the time of services at the funeral home.

   Memorials may be made to the Blessing Foundation for Hospice or the Quincy Volunteer Emergency Corps.
