Donna Allensworth, 75, of Liberty died at 2:50 a.m. Monday (December 10, 2012) in her home.
Born April 15, 1937 in Quincy. Donna was the daughter of Ralph Charles and Ruth Gouch Rowsey. She married Robert "Bob" Allensworth Jr on October 22, 1972 in Palmyra, MO. He survives.
Donna was a volunteer for the Liberty Ambulance service for 2 years. She enjoyed working in her flower garden and outside in her yard with her many angels. She and her husband also enjoyed traveling throughout the United States. Donna also loved spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband Bob; one daughter Audra Ann Allensworth-Parsons (Bob) of Liberty, IL; two sons Bill Embree (Kathy) of Grand Prairie, TX and Tom Embree of Quincy; four grandchildren Amanda (Alan) Hiller of Joplin, MO, Tim Embree and Tom J. Embree both of Quincy and Richard T. Parsons of Liberty, IL and one great granddaughter Brooklyn Hiller.
Mrs. Allensworth was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers Richard Rowsey and Bill Rowsey and one daughter Neola Embree Cramer.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A gathering of family and friends to celebrate the life of Donna Allensworth will take place in the early spring at the family farm near Liberty.
Memorials may be made to the Adams County Chapter of the American Red Cross.
