DONNA S. VAN CAMP
Donna S. Van Camp, 68, of 828 Jefferson, Quincy, died at 12:57 p.m. Saturday (April 14, 2012) in her home.
Born April 5, 1944 in Clarence, Missouri, Donna was the daughter of Robert E. and June Todd Leckbee. She married Jack Van Camp on October 17, 1964 in Salem Church in Quincy.
Donna was a 1962 graduate of Quincy High School. She was a member of Salem Evangelical United Church of Christ and was Past President of the Afternoon Women's Guild. She was also a member and Past Worthy Matron of Alpha Chapter Order of the Eastern Star No. 109, Past Matrons Club and served as Secretary for 16 years. She was a life member and Past President of the Irving School PTA. Donna enjoyed quilting, crocheting, gardening, traveling and camping with her husband Jack. Her greatest joy was attending and watching her grandchildren's activities.
Donna baked and decorated wedding cakes for her family and friends in her home for over 33 years and had been employed at the Mark Freiburg Insurance Agency for the past ten years.
Survivors include her husband Jack; One daughter, Lisa Eisenberg (Terry) of Maywood,MO; three grandchildren, Katelyn Eisenberg of Quincy, Madison Eisenberg and Riley Eisenberg both of Maywood, MO; three brothers, Bob Leckbee (Penny) of Ewing, MO, Bill Leckbee (Nancy) of Quincy and Don Leckbee (Carol) of Bonita Springs, FL; one sister, Amie Davis (Tom) of Deltona, FL; one uncle Richard Leckbee (Olive) of St. Charles, IL; four nephews Todd Leckbee (Tricia), Bryan Leckbee, Jeff Van Camp (Dawn) and Mark Van Camp; nine nieces Teresa Breault (Ron), Tania Leckbee (Larry Henry), Carrie Leckbee, Stacy Grotz (Travis), Angie Leckbee, Jamie Krafick (Mike), Janelle Davis, Jill Foley and Becky Van Camp and several great nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Van Camp was preceded in death by her parents, an uncle Forest Todd, a cousin Richard "Rick" Leckbee Jr and a nephew Kyle Davis.
Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10:30 a.m. in the Salem Evangelical United Church of Christ with Rev. Wanda Seydel officiating. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 and Friday morning at 9:30 until time of services at the church.
