FRANCES M. KULISCH
Mrs. Frances M. Kulisch, 90, of Quincy, died at 8:55 a.m. Wednesday (January 25, 2012) at Blessing Hospital.
Born October 10, 1921 in Louisiana, Missouri, Frances was the daughter of Joshua and Nora Burbridge Sanford. She married Leonard Elmo Kulisch on February 2, 1946 in Palmyra, Missouri. He preceded her in death on June 18, 1992.
Frances devoted her life to raising her family and helping on the family farm in Liberty. An accomplished artist, Frances loved to paint and was proud of her Irish heritage.
Survivors include a son, Larry L. Kulisch (Jean) of Liberty; one grandchild, Tanangi O'Bannion of Quincy; two great grandchildren, Ashley O'Banion and Zachary Tyler O'Banion both of Quincy; many loving nieces and nephews; and a close cousin, Pauline Maxwell (John) of Quincy; and a close friend and caregiver, Teresa Jording (Lonn) of Quincy.
The last of her generation, Frances was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three sisters, Grace Crim, Geneva Rone and Lucille Schmits; and a brother, William Rone.
Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 9:00 in St. James Lutheran Church by the Rev. Stephen Mueller. Burial will be in Xander Cemetery in Liberty, Illinois.
Visitation will be Friday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 at the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home in Quincy and Saturday morning from 8:30 until the time of services at St. James Lutheran Church.
